Location & Work Arrangement

• Location: Richmond, Virginia
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site 2-3 days per week required).
• Contract: This is a Contract position.
• Mode of Interview: Both Webcam and In Person Interview (follow-up in-person interview may be requested).
• Notes:
  • Local candidates are strongly preferred.
  • Parking is NOT available for contractors.
  • Candidates must be US citizens or have a Green Card, and physically reside within the US for the duration of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Execution: Implement and execute testing strategies, plans, and methodologies in support of Agile development . Conduct both manual and/or automated testing .
• Test Case Development: Extensive experience writing test cases using Gherkin syntax. Develop and provide Test Scenarios/Cases walkthroughs and secure customer sign-off.
• Data Management: Expertly write Complex SQL queries for the creation and maintenance of test data to support automation and business users. Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and XML is required.
• Tools & Environment: Utilize test management and Version Control tools such as Azure DevOps / TFS / Git . Execute automation scripts and work effectively in Windows and Linux environments.
• Defect & Risk Analysis: Test defects, update status, and conduct root cause analysis to assist developers in recreation. Apply a thorough understanding of risk-based testing .
• Process Improvement: Review metrics to identify areas for process optimization . Conduct dry run/smoke testing to ensure script readiness.
• Requirements & UAT: Gather requirements and identify gaps from the Business Analyst. Coordinate and assist UAT users in the preparation of UAT test scripts.
