Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health caresettings.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices
+ One year of respiratory therapy clinical experiencepreferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & EthicsExpectations
+ 3+ years experience hospital/medical center setting
+ PICU or NICU experience - may work across picu/nicu floor (Candidate will be cross trained on general Pediatric floor to assist when needed
+ Equipment experience: HFOV, Jet, Servo U
+ ALL certs/IA RCP license in hand (IA licensing turnaround time varies)
+ NRP or PALS certified required
Local and Travel Pay rates available if interested in applying
Nights, 36 hrs/week, Call: None; Weekends - every 3rd including holiday rotation
Weekend Requirements:
Every 3rd weekend & Holiday rotation if scheduled
