Job Description
Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher for our Mother's Day Out program, which serves children aged 2.5 to 5 years. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing, guiding, and educating small groups of no more than 11 children.
Additionally, we are open to hiring one individual to manage both the Mother's Day Out program and the School Age Program from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Alternatively, we are willing to consider hiring separate individuals for each program if it fits better.
If you did both programs you would work 9am to 2 pm with the MDO Program, have a hour break and then go pick up schoolers and be with them in the afternoon.Our hopes would be to find someone who would love to do both programs. The Mothers Day out program is a new program we are starting so we would be working together on this, We would love to explain in more detail the many options and plans. Please email us and we can plan a time to speak in more detail.
Duties Mother Day Out program:
Caring and implementing the daily program from the hours of 9am to 2 pm. Stem Projects will be done on Fridays. (we are happy to train you!
Serving children lunch and allowing rest time
Interacting with children in a educating environment
Communicate with parents
Some light cleaning is expected in your classroom area
Communication is very important
If you are also interested in the After school program position from 3pm to about 5:30 or 6 pm You would need to be able to pick up the children from school. We would need a Fulll Time person in the summer months to work with the school age children. Plan field trips and follow our summer program. We like to have fun with our schoolers in the summer months. (if you are only wanting work in the school year time frame don't let that be a reason you don't apply.

Communicate with parents in a positive manner
Fill in on school days when the school is closed
Requirements Implement and supervise educational and recreational activities for children in the Mother's Day Out program.
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Communicate effectively with both parents and children.
Participate in training sessions and a background check upon hiring.
If applying for both positions:
After school Program you would need to be 21 to be able to pick up the children from school.
Be willing to care for them and plan short activities afterschool
