We are looking for a dedicated Monitor Tech like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** Requires basic understanding of dysrythmias. Mastery of the English language and requires knowledge, ability, and judgment to: + Make critical rhythm interpretations + Communicate rhythm changes to staff nurse or charge nurse. + Numerical ability to make simple arithmetic calculations + Apply basic understanding of the function and inter-relationship of each hospital department. + Organize and complete work assigned + Anticipate the needs of physicians, nurses and other hospital departments + Communicate the needs of patient, families and visitors in a professional and timely manner recognizing life threatening signs and symptoms of heart attack, stroke and respiratory distress. **What qualifications you will need:** + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Medical City Arlington is a 435+ bed full-service hospital located in south Arlington.
