A growing injection molding manufacturer west of Manhattan, NY is looking to add a Mold Maker / Mold Repair Technician to its toolroom team. Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and build injection molds and mold components.

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble tooling to ensure optimal performance.

• Operate manual milling machines, grinders, and other shop equipment.

• Support EDM (wire and sinker) and CNC operations as needed.

• Troubleshoot tooling issues and assist in developing long-term repair solutions.

• Maintain an organized, safety-focused, and efficient work area.

Qualifications

• Background in mold repair, toolmaking, or precision machining.

• Manual machining or grinding experience required; EDM or CNC experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret detailed mold and part drawings.

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
