Job Overview
This role addresses technical challenges by translating business and functional requirements into test deliverables and systems. It involves developing, implementing, and sustaining automated test processes and controls throughout software development and maintenance lifecycles. The role includes leading and consulting on test automation strategy, design, implementation, and execution. Success is measured by the quality, maintainability, and performance of automated test code and frameworks. The work supports organizational goals by ensuring software quality and reliability through comprehensive test automation.

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute automated and manual tests to measure product quality and identify defects
• Ensure requirements and user stories are testable to support effective test design and execution
• Participate in code and design reviews to contribute to quality assurance and development processes
• Maintain and enhance automation systems by fixing defects and implementing small improvements
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience :

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, IT or related field (Preferred)
• Less than 2 years Professional experience using modern languages (e.g. C#, Java, JavaScript, etc.). (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Agile Conceptual understanding of Agile software development life cycle. (Required)
• End-to-end Testing Understanding and hands-on familiarity of testing tools (e.g. Selenium, TestNG, Appium, Sauce Labs, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, Jasmine, Protractor, etc.). Understanding of various testing methodologies and strategies: Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc. Understanding of service virtualization, mocks, stubbs and test doubles. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $58,800 - $106,000

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
